De Metac is een kleinschalige ééndaagse training aan maximaal 6 cursisten. Theorie en praktijk wisselen elkaar af en de inhoud wordt totaal afgestemd op de cursisten. dit wordt van te voren samen met hun leidinggevende bepaald. Dat er geoefend wordt op zelf meegebrachte producten, maakt dat de opgedane kennis ook echt toepasbaar is in de dagelijkse praktijk van de cursist. Opleiden en trainen wordt steeds belangijker omdat het ambacht van de metaalbewerker steeds meer verdwijnt. Een reactie van een klant maakt duidelijk wat een optimale werkwijze voor de operator betekent: Het werk is inderdaad met grote stappen vooruit gegaan. Zelfs zo veel dat het Manager en vooral Directeur opgevallen is, dat Operator tegenwoordig met trots en passie zijn werk doet. En de kwaliteit van werken is enorm vooruit gegaan.

TIG-lassen behoort net als MIG/MAG lassen en BMBE-lassen tot de categorie ‘elektrisch booglassen’. De techniek werkt met een niet-afsmeltende elektrode. In tegenstelling tot MAG-lassen wordt hier als beschermgas altijd een inert gas (edelgas) gebruikt. Toepasbaarheid Het is een lasproces waarbij een zeer hoge kwaliteit van laswerk bereikt kan worden. TIG lassen is toepasbaar op diverse materialen zoals RVS, staal en aluminium. Praktisch De opleidingen vinden plaats op het ROC Rivor. Er wordt 1 avond in de week onder begeleiding van onze professionele docenten lesgegeven. Opleidingskeuze uit de diverse toepassingsmogelijkheden; TIG staal, RVS en aluminium en op ieder niveau.
