“We saw that the market was shifting towards online ordering, and we wanted to offer that same experience to our customers,” says Dempsey.
The company was looking for a way to simplify and automate the production process, and that is how they came to AESC and their range of calculation software.

Since implementing Oroox, Westerhof Sheetmetal & Tubestore has seen significant improvements in their production process. “Where we used to have 3 to 4 people in the factory, we can now do the same work with just 1 to 2 people. That means we can achieve the same results with half the manpower,” says Dempsey.
Thanks to the built-in checks in the software, errors are also detected early in the process, which reduces material waste and saves on drawing work.
In addition, the use of the digital portal has ensured that communication with customers is more efficient.
“Where we used to spend a lot of time on telephone contact and e-mail, it is now largely automatic via the portal. This ensures that we can process more requests without the service suffering.”
