You tinker, troubleshoot, and keep everything running — that’s what Elektrolas is all about. In this role, you work on welding equipment, automation systems, and cobot machines: one day in our workshop in Waalwijk, the next at customers in the region. You work independently as well as with colleagues, learn something new every day, and are given the freedom to develop in the direction you find interesting.
The Challenge
As a service technician, you keep our customers welding equipment and cobots in top condition. You work alternately in the workshop and on location. The basis of your work is maintaining, inspecting, and repairing welding equipment, supplemented by assembling and maintaining cobot machines in industrial automation.
Your Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on welding equipment and hand tools.
- Analyzing and resolving malfunctions at customer sites.
- Assembling and maintaining cobot machines and automation systems.
- Advising customers on maintenance, usage, and safety.
- Contributing ideas for improvements within the service department.
- Further developing yourself in a direction that suits you.
What an average day looks like
In the morning, you check the schedule and load the van with tools and parts. Sometimes you work in the workshop all day, sometimes you visit three or four customers in a day. You resolve malfunctions, perform maintenance, or help a customer get back up and running, both independently and collaboratively.
