Welding is hard on the shoulders. Skelex takes the load off.
Skelex builds passive exoskeletons that carry the weight of your arms while you weld. The Skelex 360 Up Welding supports overhead work; the Skelex 360 Front Welding supports work in front of the body. Both are fully mechanical: a carbon-fibre spring does the work, with no batteries, motors or charging. The suit weighs under 3 kg, goes on like a backpack, adjusts per arm and leaves you free to move.
The result: less shoulder strain and fatigue, and a steady hand through the last weld of the shift.
Who it's for: welders, metal fabricators, shipyards and construction companies, and the production and safety managers who want to keep skilled welders healthy and on the job. Dealers in welding supplies and PPE are welcome too.
