Pritec presents new rotary for round and square tube cutting at METAVAK

Pritec Automation is presenting a new development at METAVAK: the Pritec Rotary. This attachment enables CNC plasma cutting of round and square tubes alongside sheet metal.

The rotary turns the workpiece in a controlled manner during cutting. This allows openings, cut-outs and joint profiles to be created for applications such as frames, metal structures and tube connections. Tasks that would normally involve several manual steps can therefore be performed on the machine.

The Pritec Rotary integrates with our CNC plasma cutting tables and the MyPlasm control system. A manual changeover lets the operator switch between sheet metal cutting and rotary operation, expanding the range of applications within a single machine.

At METAVAK, visitors will get a first look at this new development. We will showcase the setup, discuss its capabilities and welcome feedback from metalworkers about their applications and requirements.
