As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for purchasing the materials and components required for the production of our machines. You work closely with various departments, such as engineering, production, and logistics, and ensure an efficient purchasing strategy that contributes to the company's operational and strategic objectives. You are involved in ensuring the quality and delivery reliability of the purchased products.

The Role: As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for purchasing materials and components required for the production of our machines. You work closely with various departments, such as engineering, production, and logistics, and ensure an efficient purchasing strategy that contributes to the company's operational and strategic objectives. You are involved in guaranteeing the quality and delivery reliability of purchased products. Tasks: * Independently purchasing various technical materials / components. * Negotiating with suppliers regarding prices, terms, and delivery times. * Managing supplier relationships and ensuring the quality of purchased products. * Analyzing purchasing data and identifying areas for improvement in the purchasing process. * Coordinating purchasing needs with internal departments, such as engineering and production. * Monitoring purchase orders, contracts, and delivery agreements. * Evaluating existing suppliers and actively seeking new suppliers and innovations. * Reporting on purchasing performance. Requirements: * Demonstrable work experience in a technical purchasing role, preferably in the metal or machine building industry. * Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and negotiation techniques. * Experience with an ERP system (e.g., Infor) and other automated purchasing systems. * Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and English. * A hands-on mentality and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
