For the continued growth of our tool activities and export market, we are looking for a Technical Support who advises customers, identifies opportunities, and, together with colleagues, ensures a smooth sales and support process. You are the point of contact for customers looking for the right tools or technical support. In doing so, you collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to arrive at the best solution. Your duties: - Advising customers on tooling, machining, and metalworking - Supporting customers of Spaant.nl - Managing existing export customers - Drafting and following up on quotations - Investigating technical issues and application possibilities - Contributing ideas regarding CNC machining and tooling choices - Supporting the order and quotation flow - Working with colleagues to ensure satisfied customers and a smooth process Who are you? You are curious, practically minded, and enjoy truly helping customers. You don't need to know everything already, but you do have an affinity for technology and the drive to develop yourself further. In addition, you have: - A Bachelor's degree level of work and thinking - A technical background, for example in mechanical engineering, metalworking, or machining - An affinity for cutting tools, CNC turning, and milling - Good command of the Dutch and English languages - A proactive attitude and a healthy dose of initiative - Availability of 4 or 5 days per week What do we offer? - A varied position with a lot of freedom and responsibility - Working in a technical field that is constantly evolving - Direct contact with domestic and international customers - An informal working atmosphere with short lines of communication - Plenty of room for your own initiative and development - Competitive employment conditions.
